Sinekatalog’s take
Alberto Lattuada and Federico Fellini's first film follows a travelling variety troupe leader smitten with a young dancer. Warm, bittersweet and backstage-savvy, with Giulietta Masina, it prefigures Fellini's world of showpeople.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
