A mail-order bride in the American West.
Sinekatalog’s take
Jan Troell's Western follows a mail-order bride who arrives in the rugged American West to marry a harsh rancher. Liv Ullmann and Gene Hackman star in a quiet, beautifully photographed and unsentimental story of hardship and slow understanding.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
