Sinekatalog’s take
Edgar Reitz's drama follows the final months of World War II in a German setting, with sober realism and human detail. Quiet and unadorned, it is an early chapter in Reitz's long project to portray modern Germany.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
