Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sinekatalog ("we", "the site") collects, why, and what choices you have. The site is a non-profit educational project. For any privacy matter, use the contact form.

1. Information we do not ask for

There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments. We do not ask for personal details to use the site. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type, and use them only to reply.

2. Information stored on your device

Features such as your watchlist, your film ratings, your own lists and your language choice are stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device. We cannot see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

3. Analytics and server logs

We use Google Analytics (Google tag) to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses cookies and identifiers and sends your IP address and page activity to Google. Where consent is required, it should run only after you agree. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Our hosting provider also records technical data when a page is requested, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page. This is used to run, secure and fix the site and is kept for a limited time by the provider.

4. Third-party content

When you press a trailer or watch link, you go to third-party sites (such as YouTube or streaming services). Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not control them. The contact form is processed by a form service that delivers your message to us by email.

5. Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) applies, we process data for our legitimate interest in operating the site and for analytics, and to answer your messages. You may ask us whether we hold data about you, ask for access, correction or deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey, the KVKK Board). 6. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. International transfers

Our hosting provider, the form service and Google may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, they rely on lawful transfer mechanisms.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
