Plot

During World War II, Evie O'Connor, a secretary at Trojan Shirt Company, yearns for a tall, strong man to love her. When she slides an anonymous note into a shirt-pocket meant for a dashing man, oafish Edgar 'Wolf' Larson receives the shirt and disregards the letter.

Sinekatalog’s take

A wartime romantic comedy about a lonely secretary who slips a note into a shirt pocket and brings an unexpected suitor into her life. It is breezy and warm, with the charm of a mistaken-identity set-up. A cheerful pick for fans of 1940s romance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
