Plot
A documentary survey of the many peoples and landscapes across the Soviet Union.
Sinekatalog’s take
Dziga Vertov's silent documentary surveys peoples and landscapes across the Soviet Union with bold montage and rhetorical intertitles. Rhythmic and propagandist, it is an exhilarating if idealised portrait of an empire.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
