Sinekatalog’s take

Luis Buñuel's short documentary exposes the extreme poverty of Spain's Las Hurdes with a deadpan narration. Harsh, shocking and surreal in tone, it is a landmark of subversive nonfiction.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
