Plot

As a virus spreads throughout Brazil, a young filmmaker goes back to his village and tries to rekindle his relationship with his father. But as they become closer, stranger events start to happen, making their connection more difficult.

Sinekatalog’s take

A Brazilian fantasy drama in which a pandemic, a father and son, and slowly spreading strangeness blur together. Parente builds mood through quiet scenes, and the genre elements feel secondary to the emotional distance between the two men. Odd, intimate and unsettling.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
