Plot

A montage of scenes from vintage Chinese films—most of which were considered lost until some nitrate prints were discovered in a California warehouse in the 1990s—set to the song "Hua yang de nian hua" ("Age of Bloom") by Zhou Xuan.

Sinekatalog’s take

Wong Kar-wai edits fragments of vintage Chinese films into a wistful montage set to a classic song. It is a brief, nostalgic love letter to cinema's lost past. A treat for admirers of his visual poetry and film preservation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
