Sinekatalog’s take
Manoel de Oliveira's debut follows Porto street children in a rivalry over a girl, filmed with neorealist freshness. Lively and touching, with real kids, it is a lovely, early gem of Portuguese cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
