Plot
Ara is the story of four people and an empty house. These people are stuck between their past and stormy relationships, between Istanbul and the "homes" they can't get back, between their innermost secrets and the lies they tell, between east and west.
Sinekatalog’s take
A moody, layered drama about four people orbiting an empty house and their unsettled pasts. The city of Istanbul lingers over the whole film as a place of memory and tension. For patient viewers who like Turkish art cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
