Sinekatalog’s take
Alf Sjöberg's adaptation of Pär Lagerkvist follows the bandit freed in Jesus's place, who is tormented by guilt and a miracle he saw. Ulf Palme is strong in a sombre, searching and cinematic parable of faith and doubt.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
