Plot
Based on Yılmaz Güney's script and filmed in semi-documentary style, the movie provides a fresh perspective on the history of labor issues in 1970s.
Sinekatalog’s take
Built on a Yılmaz Güney script, this semi-documentary look at labor struggles aims for authenticity over polish. Its social conscience is the main draw, though the plain, earnest style can feel dated. Worth a look for anyone curious about politically engaged Turkish cinema of that decade.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
