Plot
Set in a blighted, inner-city neighbourhood of London, Breaking and Entering examines an affair which unfolds between a successful British landscape architect and Amira, a Bosnian woman – the mother of a troubled teen son – who was widowed by the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Sinekatalog’s take
A London architect gets entangled with a woman whose son is a burglar, and the film explores class, guilt and desire in an uneasy urban setting. It is thoughtful but overly neat, with moments of real feeling. Fits patient admirers of adult relationship dramas.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
