Sinekatalog’s take

Straub and Huillet adapt Kafka's Amerika, following a young immigrant through deadpan, stylised scenes of power and humiliation. Precise, strange and rigorously acted, it is a demanding but oddly funny and haunting film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
