Plot
Set at the turn of the century, smooth talking con man Eddie Johnson weasels his way into a job at friend and rival Joe Rocco's Coney Island night spot. Eddie meets the club's star attraction (and Joe's love interest), Kate Farley, a brash singer with a penchant for flashy clothes.
Sinekatalog’s take
A bright period musical about a smooth operator and a showgirl at an amusement-park nightspot. The plot is standard, but the songs and glitz give it spirit. A cheerful pick for fans of vintage Technicolor entertainments.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
