Plot

Dug, along with his sidekick Hognob, unite a cavemen tribe to save their hidden valley from being spoiled and, all together as a team, to face the menace of a mysterious and mighty enemy, on the turf of an ancient and sacred sport.

Sinekatalog’s take

A cavemen tribe must beat a bronze-armoured rival at football to save its valley. The clay animation is full of visual puns and handmade charm, even if the story is slight. A cheerful treat for families and fans of British stop-motion.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
