Sinekatalog’s take

Joseph Losey's drama follows a Welsh writer destroyed by a cold, enigmatic woman in Venice. Jeanne Moreau is hypnotic in a moody, glossy but heavily cut film that has more atmosphere than clarity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
