Plot

Eight months after the death of his wife, Frank Goode looks forward to a reunion with his four adult children. When all of them cancel their visits at the last minute, Frank, against the advice of his doctor, sets out on a road trip to reconnect with his offspring.

Sinekatalog’s take

A modest, sad drama about a widowed father crossing the country to visit grown children who keep their lives at arm's length. It aches with the quiet gaps between generations, and the lead performance is humble and moving. A good tearful pick for family-minded viewers.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
