Sinekatalog’s take
Yasujiro Ozu's colour remake of his own silent film follows a troupe leader visiting his secret son. Warm, subtle and beautifully composed, it is a touching study of family and the passing of an old way of life.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
