Sinekatalog’s take

Yasujiro Ozu's silent drama follows a travelling troupe whose leader visits an old lover and their son. Quiet and humane, it is the lesser-known first version of the story he later remade in colour as Floating Weeds.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
