Plot
The Louvre during World War II.
Sinekatalog’s take
Alexander Sokurov's essay-film muses on the Louvre in Nazi-occupied Paris and the men who protected its art. Dreamy, wry and learned, mixing archive, reconstruction and narration, it is a pensive meditation on culture and war.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
