A samurai's fate.
Sinekatalog’s take
Masahiro Shinoda's period drama follows a samurai trapped by a false rumour and a doomed love in a classic story of honour. Spare and elegant, with stylised staging, it is a graceful, tragic work of Japanese cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
