Plot
The story of Hasan, who must carry 40 kilos of salt on his shoulder in order to marry the most beautiful girl of Oba, Emine.
Sinekatalog’s take
A rural folk tale of a man who must haul a heavy load of salt to win the village's most beautiful bride. It has the bite of a parable about hardship and desire in a close-knit community. Likely to appeal to fans of earthy Turkish village dramas.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
