Plot

12 year old Tinja is desperate to please her mother, a woman obsessed with presenting the image of a perfect family. One night, Tinja finds a strange egg.

Sinekatalog’s take

A young gymnast hides a strange egg from her image-obsessed mother, and what hatches becomes a disturbing mirror of the household. A stylish Finnish body-horror fable about perfectionism, it is eerie, darkly funny and sharper than most creature features.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
