Plot

In post-war Armenia, physicist Artyom buries himself in work, haunted by the loss of his wife in WWII, unable to let go of the past. Meanwhile, young Tanya refuses to accept her stepfather, still waiting for her real father, missing in action for years.

Sinekatalog’s take

A warm, melancholy Armenian drama about people who cannot quite release the war years: a scientist hiding in his lab and a girl who keeps waiting for her lost father. Gentle and humane, it favors quiet feeling over plot. A good pick for lovers of Soviet-era poetic cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
