Plot

Yakup and Şemsa are Assyrians living in Berlin with their three children and grandchildren. Twenty-five years ago they migrated from Mardin to Berlin.

Sinekatalog’s take

An Assyrian family that moved from Mardin to Berlin gathers across generations and faces its past. The film is sincere about migration and identity, with a gentle comic touch. Recommended for viewers interested in diaspora stories told with warmth.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
