Plot

Leyla, a beautiful and feisty middle-aged woman, lives with her mother, whose nagging has become everyday background music. The two women fight shamelessly and cruelly, and in protest against her mother Leyla makes choices that even she herself finds a bit startling.

Sinekatalog’s take

A middle-aged woman and her nagging mother fight each other shamelessly, and her rebellious choices surprise even her. The drama is spiky, ironic and unafraid of discomfort, with a focus on a prickly mother-daughter bond. Good for viewers who like character-driven, salty portraits.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
