Sinekatalog’s take
Jean Renoir's railway noir follows an engineer with murderous urges and a fatal triangle. Jean Gabin is superb, and the film's locomotive images and fatalism influenced film noir for decades.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
