Sinekatalog’s take

Jean-Pierre Melville's wartime drama follows a widow's growing fascination with a charismatic priest. Emmanuelle Riva and Jean-Paul Belmondo are superb in a talky, intimate study of faith and desire.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
