Plot
Postwar Paris and a man who meets fate in the form of a stranger.
Sinekatalog’s take
Marcel Carné's postwar fable sets fate against lovers in a Paris night, with Prévert's script and Kosma's music. Yves Montand stars in a stylised, melancholic and elusive film that failed on release but has its devoted admirers.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
