Sinekatalog’s take

Leopoldo Torre Nilsson adapts Roberto Arlt's novel about a Buenos Aires clerk who joins a secret society of misfits plotting a revolution. Dark, feverish and philosophical, it won a Silver Bear at Berlin as a bold, unsettling film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
