Plot

In 2015, the Taliban put a price on the head of Hassan, a filmmaker, who was forced to flee Afghanistan with his wife and two young daughters. Using their camera phones, the fugitives show first-hand the many dangers refugees face when seeking asylum in a safe place.

Sinekatalog’s take

A gripping first-person record of a family on the run, shot on phones along a dangerous route. Its intimacy gives the refugee experience a raw, immediate human face. A powerful, essential watch for anyone who wants real faces behind headlines.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
