Plot
Inspired in part by a dream he had of murdering his mother, Brakhage here gives us one of his profoundest meditations on human aggression.
Sinekatalog’s take
Dense, scratchy, hand-worked abstraction that approaches violence through a dreamer's fear instead of through a story. The rhythm is jagged and the imagery hard to read, so it asks for patience and an appetite for avant-garde film. Powerful and unsettling if you give in to it.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
