Sinekatalog’s take

Mehboob Khan's drama follows a Muslim family and a wife's secret past, with Ashok Kumar and Veena. Elegant and melodramatic, with poetic dialogue, it is a stylish early work by the future director of Mother India.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
