Sinekatalog’s take
Alain Resnais's short documentary on the Nazi camps is devastating, mixing colour footage of empty ruins with archival horror. Its restrained narration makes it one of cinema's essential works of memory.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
