Plot

Alone in her empty flat, from her window Anne observes the people passing by who nervously snatch up the personal belongings and pieces of furniture she has put out on the pavement. Her final gesture of taking a ring off her finger signals she is leaving her previous life in Holland behind.

Sinekatalog’s take

A woman leaves her old life in Amsterdam behind and settles in a remote cabin, where an encounter with an older man tests her wish for solitude. The film is spare, mysterious and quietly intense. Suited to patient viewers who like minimal, ambiguous drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
