Plot
A clerk's obsession with a woman drives him to crime.
Sinekatalog’s take
F.W. Murnau's silent drama follows a poor clerk whose obsession with a woman leads him into theft and ruin. Moody and expressionistic, with Lya de Putti, it is a haunting, lesser-known study of delusion.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
