Plot

Amechiyo (the banished prince) falls in love with Tanukihime (a princess of raccoon dog disguised as human). This is an operetta which includes comedy, singing and dancing, and a love story.

Sinekatalog’s take

A banished prince falls for a raccoon-dog princess in human disguise, in a candy-colored Japanese operetta with songs and dances. Gloriously theatrical and wacky, it will charm adventurous viewers more than traditionalists.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
