Sinekatalog’s take

Hiroshi Teshigahara's film tells of the tea master Sen no Rikyu and his tense relationship with the warlord Hideyoshi. Rentaro Mikuni and Tsutomu Yamazaki lead a restrained, visually exquisite study of art, power and pride.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
