Plot
Saffet, who came to Istanbul from his village without a penny to his name, starts working as an apprentice. With the money he saves, he buys a sherbet cart and starts selling sherbet.
Sinekatalog’s take
A penniless village boy arrives in Istanbul, works his way up and starts selling sherbet. A light, good-natured comedy about city hustle, it is a harmless watch for fans of classic Turkish folk comedy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
