Plot
'Selam' is a Turkish movie that tells the impressive stories of three Turkish teachers who are idealists working at schools opened by Turkish entrepreneurs on three different continents and in three different countries: Afghanistan, Senegal, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Sinekatalog’s take
Three idealistic Turkish teachers in schools abroad face loneliness and cultural gaps in Afghanistan, Senegal and Bosnia. The film is sincere and plainly meant to inspire, though that earnestness can tilt into sermonizing. Fits viewers who like straightforward, values-driven portraits of teaching and homesickness.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
