Plot
The story takes place in Harbiye town of Antakya just before the 1960 military coup d'etat. The economic and political crisis of those days are reflected by the both funny and sad story of a family.
Sinekatalog’s take
A family in Antakya's Harbiye town lives through economic and political strain before a military coup, in a story both funny and sad. Semir Aslanyürek roots it in local color and family dynamics. Nostalgic and humane, for fans of regional Turkish storytelling.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
