Plot

John Gregory, who is a seventh son of a seventh son and also the local spook, has protected the country from witches, boggarts, ghouls and all manner of things that go bump in the night. However John is not young anymore, and has been seeking an apprentice to carry on his trade.

Sinekatalog’s take

A veteran monster hunter trains an apprentice against witches and beasts. The creatures are colourful and the production is lavish, but the story is generic and the dialogue stiff. Passable fantasy fodder for undemanding evenings.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
