Plot
Albert and David Maysles (Gimme Shelter) directed this 53-minute documentary about movie tycoon Joseph E. Levine (1963).
Sinekatalog’s take
A brisk, observational portrait of a brash movie mogul at work, shot in the fly-on-the-wall manner of the Maysles brothers. It is short, salesmanlike and often funny, and it suits anyone curious about how Hollywood hype was manufactured by hand.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
