Plot
In the mansion of a rich family living in Istanbul, a very valuable necklace is stolen. Suspecting that the thief is someone from inside the house, the owners start to approach the people working in the house with class differences and prejudices.
Sinekatalog’s take
A class-conscious mystery in which a stolen necklace exposes the prejudices of a wealthy household. The tight setting and social sharpness raise it above a routine whodunit. Smart and absorbing, a good pick for classic Turkish film enthusiasts.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
