Plot
Seikilos, who lived in prehistoric times, decides to commit suicide and, before doing so, calls in craftsmen from Egypt to mummify himself and his beloved Euterpe, whom he has killed. Thousands of years later, a shepherd living in the Aegean region accidentally opens the tomb, and Seikilos unexpectedly comes back to life.
Sinekatalog’s take
A comedy in which an ancient man who once chose to mummify himself and his lover is accidentally revived by a shepherd in the Aegean. The time-clash premise is zany. Reception suggests spotty humor, so lower your expectations.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
