Sinekatalog’s take
Bille August's Palme d'Or winner dramatises the courtship and early marriage of Ingmar Bergman's parents from his own script. Samuel Fröler and Pernilla August are fine in a serious, patient period drama of class and temperament.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
