Plot

The sleepy town where Léo lives doesn’t offer her much chance of self-fulfilment. Extricating herself from her mother’s influence and her constricting environment isn’t easy for the frustrated young woman, yet happiness might be close at hand.

Sinekatalog’s take

A frustrated young woman in a sleepy town tries to break away from her mother's grip and a life that offers nothing. Wry and gentle, the film finds humor in provincial stagnation without mocking it. A small, agreeable Quebec drama for those who like low-key character studies.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
