Plot

On a hot August afternoon, the family gather at the table and remember Uncle Botão: the Colonial War, and emigration to France where he lived and worked for thirty years as a garbage man.

Sinekatalog’s take

An animated documentary short in which family members around a hot August table recall an uncle, from colonial war to years of work abroad. Intimate and wry, it turns oral memory into a charming piece of family history.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
